The first few drops of rain were starting to hit the windscreen
Soon it was pouring down and I had to put my wipers on full speed. I normally don't mind a bit of a drizzle but, "Oh boy" I thought "This might be more than I can handle". Luckily I had an umbrella safely stored away in the car for situations like these. I entered Richmond park and, almost as if by magic, the rain stopped.
I saw several deer on the way up the hill and I still haven't gotten over the fact that you can bump into wild deer in London
I pulled into the parking lot and spotted their car almost straight away. The parents and children came out to greet me. The rain was still at bay. I quickly learnt that Alex was the chattiest and most outgoing one. Zack stayed a little bit in the background but had the most beautiful marble eyes and long, long eyelashes. The youngest one, Oliver, had bright blue eyes and blonde hair. He was very shy to begin with but soon warmed up.
We walked over to the Isabella Plantation and suddenly the rain poured down in full power
Pouring down, drenching us all. We sought shelter under a big oak tree. Alex immediately started showing off his tree climbing skills, haha! And once mum had caught up with us, we headed in through the gate.
This photoshoot was, although tricky with three little active and strong willed boys, a lovely photoshoot as always! We jumped over streams (and one little one even went in, barefoot!), climbed lots of trees and had a few tickles and kisses. By the time we were done the sun had come out and dried up most of the rain.
