Tiny toes and big blue eyes.
Little Kitty is lying in her puff, snuggling with a warm blanket. Big sister Isabella is holding her hand with mum watching over carefully.
There is so much love in this family
I am deeply moved by it. And there is something very special about newborns. They smell nice, have very soft skin and make cute little noises that make me want to hold them gently and cuddle them.
Meeting the nanny
I am lucky enough to also meet their nanny – Lizzy. They have an incredibly close relationship with her and she looks right at home, playing games with Isabella and wiping the dribble off Kitty's chin. It is so nice to see and gives me warm flashbacks to when I was her, once. I started out as a nanny many years ago, before picking up photography again. Having been a nanny has really helped me connect with children faster, and knowing just how to make them giggle or smile and feel more at ease.
Planning for our next session
Dad was not around this morning but I am hoping to meet him in the new year when Kitty will have grown a bit. We are already planning a big family session out on Wimbledon Common. I really can't wait and am so excited to see what a little person Kitty will grow into, and how Isabella will have changed also. Will she remember me? I wonder :-)
