A surprise engagement session had been a dream of mine for a while and Simon somehow managed to pick the most amazing date for it; literally the only snowy day in England since 2012. It was u-n-b-e-l-i-e-v-a-b-l-e-! And honestly, so beautiful.
Holy Guacamole, I started a podcast!
Eeeek I am so excited! This is something I've been thinking about for a while and this morning I just thought. HECKIN YES, let's do it! 🙌🏼
I guess it was kinda suitable to do it today of all days. Because, five years ago TODAY, Early May Bank Holiday in 2013, things were about to change for good, forever. And that's what I'm telling you allll about on the podcast today!
A picture can look absolutely perfect to anyone else, but if you felt stiff and awkward in the moment, you won’t like it.

"This has been really therapeutic! I remembered I really like spending time with you, just you and me. We need to do more of this".
She said to her husband towards the end of our family photography session.
That right there is exactly the impact I want my sessions to have. To be about more than capturing pretty pictures. For it to be an experience that uplifts and restores.

I mean, I still make a point of doing something special together, just for the two of us – though it’s rarely dinner and roses! Instead, we like fun couple activities :-) And so without further ado! Behold. The Ultimate List of Valentine Ideas for adventurous couples in London or Surrey – though I’m sure you could find something similar wherever you’re based!
